Shankara’s Timeless Kumkumadi Oil’s formula has been enhanced to make it suitable for use both during the day and night. We recommended following the below steps for optimal results.
Step 1
Cleanse your skin (Recommendation: Use Shankara’s Hydrating Cleanser). Gently dry your skin with a soft towel.
Step 2
If desired, exfoliate with Microcrystal Exfoliator in gentle small circles for about a minute (twice a week). Rinse and pat dry your face with a soft towel. (Avoid this step if your skin is sensitive or acne-prone).
Step 3
Apply 1-2 pumps of Anti-Age Serum or Daily Repair Serum on your face and neck with upward strokes.
Step 4
Apply 1-2 pumps of Timeless Kumkumadi Oil on your face and neck with gentle upward strokes.
Dispense in palm and apply to cleansed and exfoliated face and neck after Daily Repair Serum
Follow with Face Oil or Moisturizer Because of product activity, avoid applying on blemishes

Yes, Timeless Kumkumadi Oil is suitable for oily skin. We do recommend, however, that you not overuse the oil if you have oily skin. Our recommendation is to reduce the amount to 1-2 drops of oil per application.
Kumkumadi Oil is an all-natural moisturizer that uses sesame oil as its base oil. Itís Vata-pacifying nature enables it to balance dry and rough skin. If you have dry, Vata-skin, you can increase the amount to 4-5 drops per application.
Timeless Kumkumadi Oil is suitable for acneic skin. However, depending upon the severity of your acne, we would recommend that you explore our award-winning Clear Skin Kit for optimal results.
If you have sensitive skin, we recommend that you use our Timeless Kumkumadi Oil with our Anti-age Serum.
Most creams have some form of natural or synthetic wax in them, which prevents oil from being absorbed in order to achieve the maximum benefits. We would recommend that you use the Kumkumadi oil by itself, or apply our Anti-Ageserum or Daily Repair Serum prior to applying the Kumkumadi oil.
Most Kumkumadi Oils on the market should not be used during the day-time. However, we have enhanced the formula to make it suitable for use even during the day-time.
You will start seeing results with regular application in a period as short as three weeks.
We recommend cleansing your skin with Hydrating Cleanser (for Vata and Pitta Skin) and Purifying Cleanser (for Kapha Skin). You may also apply after Daily Repair Serum or Anti-Age Serum if desired.
