Rich nourishing oils, abundant in essential fatty acids, moisturize and smooth dry skin. Antioxidants found in plant extracts and in vitamins protect skin from environmental damage. Included are a special sunflower seed extract that protects from photo-induced free radicals and cratagegus with strong detoxifying effects, which protects against metallic ions and other atmospheric pollutants. Ayurveda-Energen BioComplex, Shankara's exclusive proprietary ingredient complex, provides antioxidant protection and supports regeneration of tissues. Skin is deeply hydrated with glycoaminoglyans and sodium hyaluronate. Warming essential oils help bring balance to the Vata dosha (body type) that tends to be dry and cold. Based in structured water, the active ingredients are enhanced and more readily absorbed. PH 5.5-5.6, balanced for the skin.
